Behind the Canvas: The Energetic Process Behind My 3D Floral Paintings

At first glance, many people are surprised to learn that my 3D floral artworks are made entirely from paint. Each bloom is handcrafted using thickened acrylic paint — I mix in special mediums to create a buttercream-like consistency, which allows me to pipe the paint through cake decorating tips. Every flower is piped individually and left to dry for a few days before being carefully placed onto the canvas. Each flower’s position is carefully considered and placed with intention. Helping to infuse each piece with the desired vibration.

But what you see on the surface — the texture, the form, the intricate layers — is only one part of the process.

Each piece is more than just paint and texture.

It’s energy.

It’s intention.

It’s manifestation in physical form.

Creating art as a ritual

Every painting begins long before I pick up a brush. I sit with the energy I want to channel – be it abundance, healing, peace, self-love – and I let that intention guide the entire process.

I might light a candle, pull a tarot card, or pick a crystal to infuse the unique vibration into the piece. Slowing down and grounding myself in this way helps me shift into the frequency of creation, not just production.

I once read that the process of creation must first awaken the artist’s soul, before it can touch the soul of others – this changed how I approached my artworks. When the act of creation fills your heart, that resonance naturally flows into your work. It’s not about striving for perfection; it’s about being fully present with the process.

Layer by Layer, Flower by Flower

Working in 3D is immersive and intuitive. Each flower is placed with care and purpose — its position considered not just visually, but energetically. I think of it as painting with intention, transmuting energy into form.

Colour choice plays a vital role too. I lean into colour psychology and chakra associations to amplify the manifestation energy of a piece. A golden backdrop may evoke solar plexus confidence; soft lilac might quiet the mind and support third eye clarity.

For custom commissions, I offer intuitive colour readings to help clients delve into what colours personally resonate best with what they want to call into being.

Charging the Canvas

Before I put paint to canvas, I cleanse and energetically charge the piece. This might involve playing specific sound frequencies, smudging the surface with incense, meditating while holding the canvas, or writing affirmations and manifestations as an underpainting — hidden messages woven into the foundation of the work.

These acts infuse the artwork with a vibrational signature. When you bring one of my pieces into your space, it’s not just decorative. It holds an energetic frequency — a quiet, steady pulse — resonating with your intention. This aligns your energy and space with the vibration of your desires, which is the key to successful manifestation.

More Than Decor — An Invitation

Whether you're decorating a sacred space or are simply drawn to art that carries deeper meaning, these textural paintings are created to support your energy — not just sit on your wall.

They’re invitations.
To feel.
To focus.
To manifest intentionally.

Each artwork is a connection to your higher self — a constant, living reminder of what you’re calling into being. Because everything I pour into the piece — the ritual, the frequency, the intention — continues to resonate far beyond it’s creation.
